The van is a public health initiative for Active Case Finding for TB in hard to reach groups.  The rates of TB in London are higher than any other Western European capital and is a major public health problem. TB is an infectious disease, but treatable and curable if diagnosed in time. Early diagnosis is a key to TB control and Active Case Finding is an important part of this.
