  • Deserted car and small vehicle lanes in the Eastern Dock of the Port of Dover where the cross channel port is situated with ferries departing to go to Calais in France. Dover, Kent, United Kingdom.  After recent quarantine laws were introduced tourism fro the UK to France has declined rapidly, all  car and small vehicle lanes were empty in the height of summer. Dover is the nearest port to France with just 34 kilometres (21 miles) between them. Normally it is  one of the busiest ports in the world.
