The Dungeness RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) disembarks children and babies into the arms of RNLI crew as 43 people including women and 10 children onto Dungeness beach on the South East Coast of Kent on the 15th of March 2022 in Dungeness, United Kingdom. There were a large number of children on the boat, they had travelled for 5 hours from France, most were Iraqi Kurds fleeing persecution. They were greeted by armed officers from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary who supplied blankets and water while they waited for Border Force to arrive to be taken away for processing.
