A woman sits on the ground breastfeeding her baby as families, including 10 children between the ages of 12 and 5 months wait outside the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) station at Dungeness on South East Coast of Kent on the 15th of March 2022 in Dungeness, United Kingdom. There were a large number of children on the boat, they had travelled for 5 hours from France, most were Iraqi Kurds fleeing persecution. They were greeted by armed officers from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary who supplied blankets and water while they waited for Border Force to arrive to be taken away for processing.
