As the high street store Wilko goes into administration the shop in Folkestone due to close in one weeks time has an administration sale to clear all stock on the 7th of September 2023 in Folkestone, United Kingdom. Wilko owns 408 stores and employs almost 12,500 staff. On Tuesday, the administrators PWC confirmed that 52 stores would close next week with the loss of 1,016 jobs. (photo by Andy Aitchison)
