50 years since the shocking Birmingham Six miscarriage of justice this APPG explores the legacy of a series of landmark wrongful convictions – the Birmingham Six, the Guildford Four and the Maguire Seven and their impact on the justice system, held in a committee room in the House of Commons on the 5th of March 2025 in London United Kingdom. Panellists include Patrick Maguire who was 13 years old when he was arrested as one of the 'Maguire Seven', the journalist Chris Mullin whose work exposed the Birmingham Six, the lawyers Alastair Logan OBE, Michael Mansfield KC and Gareth Peirce and filmmaker Ros Franey, chaired by broadcaster Roger Hearing.
