An officer from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary gives a child water and some reassurance after they had just arrived into the UK on an RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) boat at the RNLI station at Dungeness on South East Coast of Kent on the 15th of March 2022 in Dungeness, United Kingdom. There were 43 people on the RNLI boat including women and children, they had travelled for 5 hours from France, most were Iraqi Kurds fleeing persecution. They were greeted by officers from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary who supplied blankets and water while they waited for Border Force to arrive to be taken away for processing.
