Contaminated water sits in Hoards wood, an ancient woodland and area of outstanding beauty is slowly recovering despite being used as a site for waste tipping on the 28th of November 2024 near Ashford, United Kingdom. Now a protected Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and an area of outstanding natural beauty, the site used to be a carpet of bluebells in the spring but is now buried in waste tens of feet deep.
