Little Amal took her first steps in the United Kingdom today when she arrived to a warm welcome from local school children and Actor Jude Law in Folkestone, United Kingdom on the 19th of October 2021. Little Amal is a 3.5 metre-tall living artwork of a young Syrian refugee child who has spent the last 3 months walking 8000 km from the boarder of Syria across Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium to the UK to focus attention on the urgent needs of young refugees.
