People from the British Jewish community came together and held up posters as part of a vigil to remember those that died in the recent Hamas attack and also call for the release of the men, women and children who were kidnapped by Hamas on the 7th of October 2023, exactly one month ago. The vigil was held opposite the entrance to Downing Street, the official residence of Britain's Prime Minister, in London on November 7, 2023. Thousands of civilians, both Palestinians and Israelis, have died since the 7th of October 2023, after Palestinian Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip entered Israel in an unprecedented attack triggering a war declared by Israel on Hamas with retaliatory bombings on Gaza.
